The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation is one of the oldest and most respected in the industry.  It represents the highest level of professional real estate achievement. This designation is reserved for only the most dedicated, conscientious and highly skilled managers. The CRB community spans approximately 7,000 members worldwide.

Most real estate offices are set up on an Independent Contractor basis, where the agent controls their own work habits.  Consequently, for the agent, it is very similar to running his or her own business. This type of structure presents the need for managers to effectively communicate, motivate and coach in a manner different from traditional sales managers.

We have to deal with turnover and have a need to expand our sales team in a very selective manner.  As a result, we are constantly recruiting new sales associates to join our firms and we only look for the best. 

CRB Designees have:
* Dedication to recruiting and training their associates to handle real estate transactions with professionalism and the most up-to-date information, techniques and tools available.
* Skill in designing effective marketing programs to promote and sell property for the highest price and in the shortest period of time with the least inconvenience to our clients.
* Management know-how assisting sales associates in helping to quickly find a property matching the needs and wants of the customer.
* Experience and understanding of market, housing and economic trends that will be used to positively influence transactions.  (This is especially important in our present market.)
* Expertise in maintaining an organized, smooth-running organization which ensures that transactions receive prompt and thorough attention.

I received my Designation on May 5, 1975, as the 579th recipient in the USA and have stayed up to date by using the Real Estate Council’s ongoing leading-edge education and resources.  When only the best will do, seek out a CRB.
